Maybe next time...

I was surprised the other day to get a voicemail from Camille saying, "Meagan. Call me back when you get this. It's REALLY important!" So, I returned Camille's call to find out that Kate Gosselin (from Jon and Kate plus Eight) was going to be speaking at Seacoast church in Mt. Pleasant on THIS TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We talked about tickets and making plans to go. I was so excited about it. I would get to see Miss Camille AND hear Kate speak! Also, Emily Ann recently let me borrow Jon and Kate's new book, Multiple Blessings. So, I had planned on getting that signed for her! I even talked to Holland about driving with me. It was all looking good.

Fast forward to today....

Camille and I looked into tickets, and you guessed it! SOLD OUT! I was so disappointed. Oh well, maybe next time. At least I can watch a new episode of Jon and Kate tonight! ;-)

2009!!!!!!!!!!!

New Year's this year was out in the country with Andrew's family. We had a bonfire with hot dogs and smores, of course! We even got the fire started back up on the next day! After watching the Gamecocks play (which was sad...) we went outside to ride the four wheeler. Eventually, Sara Lynn (Andrew's sister) and I found our way into a deer stand. Don't worry Mom...we didn't actually have to climb up a tree to get there! We did ride the four wheeler though and hit 40 mph! I'm sure Mom will love that. Then, Ellie and Molly came outside. They helped us build the fire back up. "Unca Andrew" even took them on the four wheeler a few times, and they loved it. They even got up in the stand with Sara Lynn and me. It was a fun couple of days. We ate a lot, stood around the fire, and watched football.
